Royal Pasta

The perfect royal pasta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Durum wheat pasta
  • 80 g Beef fillet in strips
  • 50 g Paprika
  • 100 g Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Tomatoes from the good San Marzano
  • 150 ml Red wine
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Thyme
  • Oregano (wild marjoram) spice
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Freshly grated Parmesan
  1. Open the can with the good San Marzano tomatoes and bring to the boil together with the red wine and reduce it, it should be a sauce and not a soup.
  2. Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the packet or your own taste and set aside
  3. Cut the beef fillet into bite-sized strips / pieces.
  4. Paprika and fresh tomato into small cubes / strips, who would also like to cut into triangles (only for the hobbyist)
  5. When the sauce has reached the desired consistency – like to reduce it a little thicker, add the olive oil and the meat from the roast, so put them aside.
  6. Fry the fillet strips in olive oil, roast the peppers and tomatoes with them.
  7. Add the reduced tomato sauce and finish frying.
  8. Season with salt, pepper and, if you want (I want), with oregano and thyme.
  9. Now add the noodle to the sauce and mix well.
  10. Hopefully put on a plate and sprinkle with the freshly grated Parmesan.
  11. Good hunger!
