Super Crispy Sweet Potato Fries

The perfect super crispy sweet potato fries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 size Sweet potato
  • 1 tbsp Strength
  • Dried rosemary
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  1. Getting sweet potato fries really crispy is not as easy as with normal potatoes, the secret lies in the watering and the starch.
  2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into fries and soak in a bowl with cold water for about 60 minutes and then drain and dry the fries with paper towels. Then preheat the oven to 250 degrees top / bottom heat and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  3. Now place the dried French fries in a bowl and sprinkle with the starch. Add the oil and the other spices and mix well with your hands and then place the fries on the baking sheet. Make sure that the fries don’t touch each other – otherwise they won’t get crispy – and then bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes.
