Rustic tomato soup from the wok

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 cocktail tomatoes
  • 100 g diced ham or bacon
  • 8 meatballs (ready-made party meatballs)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic
  • 1 gr. bottle(s) of tomatoes, pureed
  • Sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Marjoram, dried
  • oil
  • 4 tbsp cheese, grated
  • some stalks of fresh basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

quick and easy

Heat the oil in a wok. Leave the wok over medium heat. Brown the bacon or ham in the oil. Peel and roughly chop the onions and garlic cloves and add them. Halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes and meatballs, depending on their size, and add them to the wok. Deglaze with the passata and the same amount of water. Season to taste with sugar, salt, pepper, and marjoram. Simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat. Garnish with basil and grated cheese and serve.
