Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter or margarine, soft
- 500 g rye flour
- 125 ml milk, 1.5% fat
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp caraway seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
for 30 pieces
Cream the butter until creamy, then add the flour, milk, salt, and caraway seeds and knead until the dough is glossy. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface and cut into 1 x 6 cm strips. Grease a baking sheet or line it with baking paper. Place the strips of dough on the baking sheet, place it in the oven (middle rack), and bake at 210 – 225 °C (top/bottom heat) for 8 – 10 minutes.
