Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g meat sausage (Lyoner)
  • 600 g jacket potatoes, sliced
  • 100 g onion(s), diced
  • 60 g dried meat, finely diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 80 g clarified butter
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • possibly garlic
  • possibly herbs, fresh as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fry the potatoes in clarified butter. Then add the Lyoner cubes and continue frying, then the diced onion until lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish and top with diced tomatoes, jerked beef, and cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C until the cheese is golden brown. Extra tip: Add a little garlic and fresh herbs to round off the Lyoner dish.
