Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour of your choice (wheat, spelt, spelt flour, double-grain flour)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp salt
- 250 ml water or half water half milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Mix everything together to form a smooth dough. Scoop out some dough with a spoon and drop it into plenty of boiling salted water. Let it simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. The flour dumplings go very well with goulash. They can also be melted with bacon and served with a green salad.
