Simple asparagus and potato casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg asparagus, preferably green
  • 1 packet of hollandaise sauce
  • 100 g Parmesan or crumbled cheese
  • 150 g ham
  • 8 m.-sized potatoes
  • Spice(s) (salt, nutmeg, paprika powder, granulated vegetable stock, pepper)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ jar water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes, then peel and quarter if necessary. Brown the ham in a pan, add the washed and portion-sized asparagus, season well, and cook briefly (5-10 minutes) while stirring and adding half a glass of water. Place the potato quarters and the fried asparagus and ham mixture in a large casserole dish, pour hollandaise sauce straight from the package over the potatoes, and top with crumbled cheese, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven to 200°C (400°F) for 20-30 minutes until wonderfully crispy.
