Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour (wheat flour, type 550)
- 250 ml milk
- 30 g butter, soft
- 25 g yeast
- 200 g carrot(s), finely grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp herbs, mixed and chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk and knead it with the remaining ingredients until a firm dough forms. Then, cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 30 minutes. Knead the dough again vigorously, forming it into an oblong roll. Place the roll in a loaf pan and let it rise for at least another 30 minutes, until the bread has significantly increased in size. Then bake at 210°C for approximately 50-60 minutes.
