SABO – Spätzle with ham and peas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g spaetzle
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 350 g ham, cooked; on the slate
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 250 ml cream
  • 200 g peas, frozen
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • curry
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the spaetzle until almost al dente. Melt the butter, fry the ham for 3 minutes, add the onion, and fry for 4-5 minutes. Add the cream, bring to a boil briefly, add the frozen peas, and simmer for a few minutes. Season the sauce to taste. Add the spaetzle to the sauce and let it simmer for 1 minute.
