Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 120 g bacon, diced
- 3 tbsp clarified butter
- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp flour
- 150 ml beer
- 200 ml broth
- 2 tsp mustard
- Salt
- pepper
- 4 cod fillets, 150g each
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Slowly fry the bacon in hot clarified butter. Add the onions and fry until translucent. Dust with flour and top up with beer and stock. Stir in the mustard. Bring to a boil briefly, reduce heat, and simmer over low/medium heat. Let the fish fillets simmer in the sauce for 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
