GDR recipe adapted from Kurt Drummer

Fillet the smoked fish, cut into pieces, and fry each piece in a little oil and butter until browned. Turn carefully. Finely dice the onion and sprinkle over the fish. Whisk the eggs with the condensed milk and a little salt, pour over the smoked fish and onions, season generously with pepper, and let it set over low heat. Serve with a buttered roll or a slice of mixed bread and a strong coffee. Tip: This dish makes a great hangover breakfast!
