Salad: Lentil Salad

The perfect salad: lentil salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 60 g Red lenses
  • 120 g Brown lentils
  • 100 g Fresh onions
  • 1 small Yellow zucchini
  • 3 El Vinegar
  • 3 El Oil
  • 2 Tl Ginger garlic paste, alternatively 1 clove of garlic and a little
  • Fresh ginger, cut very small
  • Salt and pepper
  1. I had the brown lentils in the water overnight. So cook both types of lentils in two different pots so that the respective color is retained. I have to admit, I didn’t look at the clock. The red lentils cook faster. Must be tried in between.
  2. Cut the onion and zucchini into fine cubes.
  3. Put the cooked lentils in a bowl and fold in all the other ingredients. Season to taste the first time and, if necessary, add seasoning. This salad should have at least an hour to pull through. That way it tastes better.
