Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 heads of lettuce
- 2 liters of water
- 6 garlic cloves
- 250 g bacon
- 7 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour
- Milk
- Salt
- Vinegar
- egg yolk
- 1 tbsp cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Bring the water to a boil with garlic cloves, a little salt, and a dash of vinegar. Wash the lettuce thoroughly, chop it, and bring it to a boil in the soup. Fry the diced bacon. Mix 7 eggs, a little milk, and salt, and fry the pancakes piece by piece in the bacon fat. Cut the pancakes into 2-cm pieces and add them to the soup. Mix the flour with the milk, add it to the soup, cook for a few minutes, and season with cream. This recipe from Transylvanian cuisine.
