Salad with oranges and grapefruit

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 2 grapefruits
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 orange(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. pine nuts or sunflower seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash and shred the lettuce. Fillet the two grapefruits. Peel and finely chop the two oranges. Combine everything in a bowl. Squeeze the orange and lemon. Simmer the juice in a saucepan with 1 tablespoon of honey for about 10 minutes, until it reaches a syrupy consistency. Mix in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Add to the bowl. Finally, stir in the seeds, if desired. Tastes delicious with a nice beef steak.
