Salami – Paprika – Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 150g salami
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 100 g processed cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100 g cheese, grated Emmental

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Delicious warm or cold

Clean the bell peppers and cut the flesh into small cubes. Cut the salami into thin strips. Whisk the eggs with a little pepper and paprika powder. Gradually stir in the sour cream, processed cheese, and half of the grated Emmental cheese. Season the mixture with salt. Melt the butter and stir it into the egg mixture along with the bell peppers and salami. Line a springform pan with baking paper, then cover with the puff pastry and pull up a raised edge. Spread the egg, bell pepper, and salami mixture over the pastry. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 180°C. Now bake the cake for about 25 minutes. Cut into slices and serve warm or cold.
