Salmon Fillet on Bed of Lettuce

The perfect salmon fillet on bed of lettuce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Bed of lettuce

  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce dark
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 0,5 Lemon
  • 4 tbsp Sesame
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 Leaf lettuce
  • 8 Radish
  • 60 g Yogurt
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Dried coriander
  • Sugar
  1. For the fish marinade, grate the lemon peel and squeeze out the juice and add both to the olive oil – also mix in the chilli flakes, pepper, mirin and soy sauce. Now soak the fish in it for a good hour – preferably with the skin side up.
  1. Drain the marinade (set aside) and fry the salmon on the skin side for 2-3 minutes – meanwhile sprinkle with sesame seeds. Turn carefully and fry again for 1-2 minutes.

Bed of lettuce

  1. Clean and wash the salad and pour it into ice water. Cut the radishes into thin slices. Put the fish marinade in a pan and reduce. Mix with yogurt, mustard and rice vinegar and season with salt, pepper, sugar and coriander.
  1. While the fish is cooking, arrange the salad and dressing on plates.
