Salmon Fillet with Pimentos on Braised Vegetables

The perfect salmon fillet with pimentos on braised vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Salmon fillet:

  • 300 g Salmon fillet / 2 pieces of 150 g each
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Pimentos:

  • 100 g Pimentos (small fried peppers / Spain)
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Braised vegetables:

  • 100 g Zucchini
  • 100 g Chinese cabbage / leaf hearts
  • 100 g Red pepper
  • 100 g Green paprika
  • 100 g Onion
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Liquid honey
  • 0,5 Cup Water
  • 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Serve:

  • 2 Leaflets Basil for garnish

Salmon fillet:

  1. Sear the salmon fillets vigorously on both sides in a pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp), season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) and cover the skin side at a medium temperature for approx Let cook for 7 – 8 minutes.

Pimentos:

  1. Clean the pimentos / shorten the stem a little, wash and drain well. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Heat sunflower oil (1 tbsp) in a pan, add the garlic cubes and fry / stir-fry. Add the pimentos, sauté / stir-fry for a few minutes, season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches). Place on an ovenproof dish and keep warm in the oven at approx. 100 ° C. When eating, the pimentos are touched by the stick and eaten.

Braised vegetables:

  1. Wash the zucchini and Chinese cabbage and cut into sticks. Clean and wash the peppers and cut into sticks. Peel and halve the onion and cut into sticks. Put the vegetables (zucchini, Chinese cabbage, peppers and onions) in the pimentos pan and fry / stir-fry, pour half a cup of water and sprinkle with sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp), liquid honey (1 tbsp), coarse sea salt from the mill (4 strong Pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (4 big pinches) season everything for approx. 10 minutes cook / stir-fry until all the liquid has boiled away.

Serve:
