Salmon from the oven

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g salmon fillet(s), fresh, with skin
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • e.g. Dill, fresh, coarsely plucked
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Lemon slice(s), thinly sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Super simple

Preheat the oven to 230-250°C (top/bottom heat). Wash and dry the salmon fillet. Heat the butter and half of the dill in an ovenproof (and possibly non-stick) pan (either on the stovetop or in the oven). Place the salmon fillet skin-side up in the pan and place in the oven. Remove from the oven after 4 minutes and peel off the skin. If the skin doesn’t come off easily, return it to the oven for another 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, turn the fillet over, season with salt and pepper again, and sprinkle with the remaining dill. Return the pan to the oven for 3-5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet and how translucent you prefer the salmon. Remove the fillet from the oven and serve garnished with lemon slices.
