Salmon in Horseradish Sauce

The perfect salmon in horseradish sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Discs Frozen salmon fillet
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 200 ml Milk or cream
  • 100 ml White wine
  • 200 ml Pasta water
  • 1 Lemon zest
  • 1 Dill
  • 2 tablespoon Horseradish – a little more or a little to your taste
  • 300 g Tagliatelle green
  1. Let the salmon fillet thaw, wash and pat dry. I always cut out the dark because it sometimes tastes tan. Cut salmon into cubes.
  2. Cook the pasta in salted water.
  3. Heat some oil in the pan and fry the cubes, season with salt and pepper and remove from the pan — keep warm.
  4. Now add the milk or cream, white wine and pasta water to the pan, bring to the boil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Finally add the lemon zest and the chopped dill – stir well and bring to the boil briefly.
  6. Add the horseradish to your taste, mix the salmon and the noodles well and serve with a little lemon and horseradish.
  7. Bon appetit; 🙂
