Salmon steaks grilled with herb butter

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tbsp shallot(s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely sliced
  • 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 salmon steaks
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 2 lemons, sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy, then add the shallots, garlic, parsley, salt, and a little pepper to taste. Brush the salmon steaks with melted butter and grill them in the preheated grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Brush with the remaining melted butter or with the butter from the grill pan, season with salt and pepper, and grill for another 3 minutes. Turn over, brush again, and grill until firm to the touch. Place on a warmed serving platter and garnish with lemon slices. Spread the herb butter over the steaks or serve it separately.
