Salsa and sausage stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g rice
  • 1 ring/s poultry sausage or ham sausage
  • 1 bottle of salsa
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 2 large onions
  • 3 tbsp oil for frying
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions and keep warm. Finely dice the onions, grate the zucchini and slice the sausage. Heat the oil in a large pot, fry the sausage slices on both sides until lightly browned, then add the onions and zucchini. Cook everything for about 5 minutes. Pour the salsa into the pot, fill the empty bottle a quarter full with water, shake well and add the contents to the pot. Mix everything well and simmer on low heat with the lid closed for 20 minutes. Serve the rice and stew side by side on a plate and enjoy.
