Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g turkey or pork
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup rice (large cup)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Fat for frying
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the meat into cubes or strips. Heat the fat in a pan and brown the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Then pour in the water and add the rice. Clean the bell pepper and cut it into strips or cubes. Add it to the pan. Add about 3-4 tablespoons of tomato paste and let it cook until the rice is tender. Add a little water now and then if necessary. Serve hot. Any kind of salad goes well with this. Note: You can adjust the consistency to your liking. You can either let the rice absorb all the water, or you can add a little more water at the end to make the dish a bit more runny. To each his own. But be careful: It burns easily, so keep an eye on it and stir well!
