Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar Letscho Ngarian style (pickled pepper strips in tomato paste)
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp Paprika cream, Hungarian, from the tube, or hot paprika powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp, heaped dill, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tbsp, heaped basil, fresh or frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Cut the bell pepper strips into very small pieces. Peel the tomatoes and also cut them into very small pieces. Finely chop the onion, garlic, dill, and basil. Place everything in a bowl and mix well with the spices. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
