Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 packets of dry yeast
  • 80 g butter
  • 500 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some caraway
  • some salt, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the yeast dough from both flours, the salt, yeast, butter, and lukewarm milk. Roll out the dough to about 1-2 cm thick, cut out triangles, and roll them up (starting from the wide end). Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let rise for about half an hour. Beat the egg and brush it over the sticks. Sprinkle with coarse salt and caraway seeds. Bake at 200°C for about 20-30 minutes.
