Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 50 g flour
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some butter or margarine for the mold
  • some milk
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

quick and easy, Snowflake style

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a baking dish with butter or margarine. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Beat the egg yolks with sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Sift in the flour and beat again. Then fold in the egg whites. Pour the slightly warmed milk into the baking dish, ensuring it covers the bottom. Pour in the entire mixture. Place in the oven (middle rack) and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes. Do not open the oven during baking. Serve immediately dusted with powdered sugar.
