Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork schnitzels
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 onions, cut into rings or half rings
  • 4 large bell peppers, green and red, cut into strips
  • 4 garlic
  • 4 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • some flour
  • ¼ liter cream
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the pork schnitzel into strips about 1 cm wide and fry in oil. Remove from the pan, set aside, and fry the onions. Add the red and green bell pepper strips and sauté. Crush or finely chop the garlic and quickly mix in. Cover the pan and sauté everything for 5 minutes on low to medium heat. Once the vegetables are evenly cooked, add the meat again, mix well, and sauté for another 5 minutes. Mix the paprika and a little flour with the cream and salt, pour in and mix evenly. Add a little more cream if desired. Re-cover and simmer for another 10 minutes on the lowest heat, then season to taste and serve immediately. Serve with rice, pasta, or simply baguette.
