Sauce: Hot Tomato and Pepper Sauce

Ingredients
 

  • 0,5 Fresh onion
  • 1 Red peppers
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 0,5 tbsp Harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp Good mood - spice blossom mixture
  • 0,5 tsp Yellow curry powder
  • 0,5 tsp Clay salt
  • 500 g Strained tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • Peel the onion and cut very finely. Peel the bell pepper, remove the seeds and the membranes and cut into small pieces.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. First add the onions and shortly afterwards the pepper pieces and sauté.
  • Now stir in the tomato paste, harissa and the spices and sauté briefly.
  • Then pour the tomatoes into the saucepan, stir everything together, bring to the boil and simmer gently with the lid on for about 60 minutes. Then simmer for about 30 minutes without the lid. Possibly taste it.
  • Now either use it immediately, store it in the refrigerator until it is ready to use or, if you do not use the sauce immediately, pour it into 2 small twist-off jars while still hot and close them tightly.
