Sauces: Spicy Quark Dip

The perfect sauces: spicy quark dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Quark 40%
  • 1 piece Fresh ginger, the size of a hazelnut
  • 1 piece Fresh shallot
  • 3 piece Garlic cloves
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Sugar
  1. Peel the ginger, garlic and shallot. Grate the shallot and ginger, dice the garlic very finely and then mash it with the back of a knife.
  2. Mix the quark well with the garlic, ginger and shallot and season with pepper, salt and sugar.
  3. Let it steep in the refrigerator for at least three to four hours.
