Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 serving of mashed potatoes
- Fat for the mold
- 2 Cabanossi
- 1 gr. can/n sauerkraut
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Pour the mashed potatoes into a greased casserole dish. Brown the sliced Cabanossi in a deep pan. Add the sauerkraut and two bay leaves, mix, and sauté for about five minutes. Combine the egg yolks, mustard, honey, and sour cream. Spread the contents of the pan over the mashed potatoes. Pour the honey-mustard sauce over the sauerkraut. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
