Sauerkraut meatballs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g sauerkraut
  • 1 apple, sour
  • ½ bunch of spring onions
  • 200 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs, size M
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Squeeze out the sauerkraut and chop it finely. Peel the apple and cut it into small cubes. Wash the spring onion, remove the roots, and cut it into small pieces. Mix the diced apple, spring onion, sauerkraut, ground meat, eggs, flour, and oats. Add the parsley and knead. Season with salt and pepper. Using moistened hands, form the mixture into meatballs. Melt the clarified butter in a pan, heat it, and fry the meatballs.
