Sauerkraut salad with pineapple

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 5 slices of pineapple (can)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp pineapple juice
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Chop the sauerkraut into small pieces and fluff it up with two forks. Cut the pineapple slices into chunks and mix them into the sauerkraut. Mix the oil with the lemon juice, pineapple juice, paprika, pepper, and salt and pour over the salad ingredients. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about half an hour before serving.
