Sauerkraut Stew with Saithe
The perfect sauerkraut stew with saithe recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Onion red
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 200 g Sauerkraut drained fresh
- 1 Yellow pepper
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 300 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 tsp Caraway seed
- 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB
- 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds black
- 1 Pc. Mace
- 3 Juniper berries
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- Telly cherry pepper
- 200 g Pollack fillet
- Sour cream 10% fat
- Parsley
- Peel the onion and garlic, dice the onion and press the garlic! Heat the oil in a saucepan and roast the onion and garlic! Then roast the tomato paste and add the sauerkraut! Fry for 5 minutes!
- Then clean, wash, dice the paprika and add to the sauerkraut. Deglaze with vegetable stock! Add the spices and herbs, put the lid on and cook for about 10 minutes!
- Dice the fish fillet and finally add it to the sauerkraut pot and simmer over the lowest heat for 5 minutes! Season to taste with pepper. Remove juniper berries and bay leaf!
- Divide the stew on 2 plates, top with sour cream and sprinkle with black mustard seeds and parsley! Serve!
