Sauerkraut with Mango and of Course More with Potato Porridge

The perfect sauerkraut with mango and of course more with potato porridge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Sauerkraut, vacuumed
  • 2 Chopped onions
  • 2 Chopped garlic
  • Pepper, salt, juniper berries, 1 bay leaf
  • 120 g Mango in small pieces with juice, see picture
  • 110 g Rest of the pork, cooked
  • 3 Sausages
  • 100 ml Broth clear
  • Dried parsley, doesn’t matter how much
  • 200 ml Sparkling wine sweet
  • 4 Potatoes
  • Butter, salt, nutmeg, you know it
  1. Put on onions, garlic, pork, sparkling wine, broth with sauerkraut and make them firm to the bite. Simmering sausages separately is too much fat for me.
  2. Mashed potatoes for 2 people. prepare and season. When done, fold in plenty of parsley. Unfortunately only had dried ones.
  3. Keep everything warm, mix the meat and mango with the sauerkraut. HOT. The experiment with mango was an experiment because I was too generous with pepper. You just have to know how to help yourself :-)))))
