Sauerkraut with Mango and of Course More with Potato Porridge
The perfect sauerkraut with mango and of course more with potato porridge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Sauerkraut, vacuumed
- 2 Chopped onions
- 2 Chopped garlic
- Pepper, salt, juniper berries, 1 bay leaf
- 120 g Mango in small pieces with juice, see picture
- 110 g Rest of the pork, cooked
- 3 Sausages
- 100 ml Broth clear
- Dried parsley, doesn’t matter how much
- 200 ml Sparkling wine sweet
- 4 Potatoes
- Butter, salt, nutmeg, you know it
- Put on onions, garlic, pork, sparkling wine, broth with sauerkraut and make them firm to the bite. Simmering sausages separately is too much fat for me.
- Mashed potatoes for 2 people. prepare and season. When done, fold in plenty of parsley. Unfortunately only had dried ones.
- Keep everything warm, mix the meat and mango with the sauerkraut. HOT. The experiment with mango was an experiment because I was too generous with pepper. You just have to know how to help yourself :-)))))
