Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 jar beans (green beans)
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 liter meat broth
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 800 g potatoes
  • 4 Mettwurst sausages
  • 1 slice(s) smoked bacon, approx. 1 cm thick
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp savory, shredded

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Simple and delicious

Dice the onions, carrots, and potatoes. Add the sausages, bacon, and savory to a large soup pot along with the meat broth. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, thinly slice the leek, rinse thoroughly, and add to the soup about 10 minutes before the end of the 30-minute cooking time. Finally, add the jar of green beans and their liquid to the soup, heat briefly, and season with pepper.
