Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced pork
- 1 potato(s), diced
- 1 onion(s), finely diced
- 1 tsp, heaped salt, possibly curing salt
- 1 tsp, leveled pepper
- 1 tbsp, heaped marjoram, shredded
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 100 ml mineral water
- some Maggi, optional
- butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
the quick alternative to saumagen
Boil the potato cubes in a little salted water. Sauté the onion cubes in butter until translucent. Let both cool slightly. Knead the remaining ingredients in a bowl until the mixture becomes sticky, then stir in the potato and onion cubes. Form the mixture into patties and fry in butter over low heat.
