Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of croissants (chilled fresh dough)
- 1 stalk(s) leek, medium-sized, washed and cut into fine rings
- 5 tomatoes, dried (without oil)
- 1 ball(s) of mozzarella
- some cheese, sliced (Edam or Gouda)
- some basil, cut into thin strips
- 4 sausages (poultry sausages)
- Pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Snack leftovers from the refrigerator and pantry
Remove the croissants from the package and unroll them. Trim the leek and cut into very fine rings, wash, and spin dry. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into very fine strips. Cut the mozzarella into strips. Do the same with the basil. Sprinkle some leek on the unrolled croissants, then arrange some tomato and basil strips, then place the sausages on top. Top with the shredded cheese and roll up to form a croissant. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with some shredded cheese and coarsely ground pepper, and bake at 180°C fan-assisted oven for about 20 minutes.
