Savory cake with salami, tomatoes and cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 120 ml sunflower oil
  • 125 ml milk
  • 170 g Emmental cheese
  • 110 g salami, diced
  • 70 g tomatoes, soft, dried, possibly more
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Finely dice the salami and sun-dried tomatoes. Whisk together the eggs, flour, baking powder, and pepper. Gradually add the oil and the slightly warmed milk, alternating between the two, and stir in. Then fold in the cheese, salami, and tomatoes. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Watch the pan during baking and cover with aluminum foil if it starts to get too dark. Test for doneness with a wooden skewer before removing the pan; extend the baking time slightly if necessary.
