Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 80 g butter or margarine
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 50 g cheese, freshly grated
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk
- chili
- Herbs, Italian, dried
- Salt, coarse
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Snacks to accompany beer and wine
Mix the flour and baking powder and sift onto a baking board. Make a well in the center and divide the butter, egg, and cheese into it. Knead everything together well, adding milk or flour as needed to form a smooth dough. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-5 mm, cut or cut as desired, place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and brush with egg yolk. Sprinkle with various spices or herbs to taste. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan oven), until they reach the desired color. A great party favor!
