Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pack of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 tomatoes, dried
  • 4 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 1 tsp capers (if you like)
  • 2 artichoke bottoms, cooked (possibly from the can)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chili (Allspice d’Espelette, is a mild chili)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

makes about 20 pieces

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-assisted oven). Melt the butter and let it brown slightly. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke bottoms, and ham into small cubes. Mix the flour with the yeast, add the eggs, and knead well. Add the olive oil, melted butter, salt, and Espelette pepper and knead everything into a smooth dough. Then mix in the diced tomatoes, artichokes, ham, and capers. If you have madeleine molds, fill them three-quarters full. Otherwise, muffin molds will also work. Place in the oven for about 15 minutes. Serve lukewarm.
