Savory Meatballs with Rice

The perfect savory meatballs with rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Remainder of cooked basmati rice
  • 50 g Mett rest
  • 50 g Onions
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 piece Ginger the size of a walnut
  • 0,5 Green chilli pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Mild curry powder
  • 0,5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  1. Peel and dice the onion. Peel and finely dice the garlic clove and ginger. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and finely dice. All ingredients (100 g cooked rice, 50 g ground meat, 50 g diced onions, 1 clove of garlic finely diced, 1 piece of ginger the size of a walnut finely diced, ½ green chilli pepper finely diced, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon mild curry powder and ½ teaspoon ground cumin ) in a bowl and mix well. Shape 4 meatballs with moistened hands, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with oil (4 tbsp) on both sides until golden-brown. The meatballs can be used for many dishes or they just taste like that.
