Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 8 eggs
- 3 tbsp flour
- 30 ml water
- 50 ml milk
- Salt
- Pepper, freshly ground
- Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 tomatoes (vine)
- 2 balls of mozzarella, 125g each
- basil
- 200 g cooked ham, sliced
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
with tomatoes, mozzarella and ham
Whisk eggs, flour, mineral water, and milk into a batter and season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat oil and fry 16 small pancakes one after the other from the batter. Wash tomatoes, drain mozzarella, and slice both. Set aside 4 slices of mozzarella. Wash basil leaves and quarter ham. Place pancakes next to each other, top with 1/3 of the mozzarella, tomato, and ham slices, and basil leaves. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up. Finish each pancake with a pancake and the reserved mozzarella slices. Bake briefly in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until the mozzarella melts slightly.
