Ingredients
- 275 g Puff pastry roll from the refrigerated shelf
- 1 Pc. Onion
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 Pc. Apples
- 100 g Salami
- 150 g Gorgonzola
- 1 Pc. Mozzarella ball
- Salt pepper
- 2 Branches Thyme
- Oregano
Instructions
- Unroll the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Peel the onion, cut into fine half rings and sauté in a pan in the heated olive oil. Scatter the sugar on top and let it caramelize. Cut or slice the apples into thin wedges.
- Spread the onion, salami and apple wedges on the puff pastry, pull the mozzarella and Gorgonzola into pieces and spread over them. Season with salt and pepper and spread the herbs (you can also use dried herbs if you like) on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat on the middle rack for approx. 20 - max. 25 minutes. If you use pizza dough, then bake at 225 degrees top / bottom heat for about 15-20 minutes.
- You can also vary this recipe again: Instead of puff pastry e.g. use a roll of pizza dough from the refrigerated shelf. The salami can be left out without replacement, then you have a vegetarian pizza. If you cut the apples into small cubes, you can roll up the dough from the longer side and then cut into thin slices. Then you can serve the particles as finger food at a party.
