Savoy Cabbage Stew with Pears and Sausages

Ingredients
 

  • 100 g Diced Bacon
  • 1 Fresh onion
  • 0,5 Savoy cabbage fresh
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 800 ml Vegetable broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Thyme spice
  • 4 Smoked sausages
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 2 Pears

Instructions
 

  • Remove the outer leaves from the savoy cabbage. Halve the savoy cabbage and cut out the stalk. Rinse off the savoy cabbage, drain and cut into pieces. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Clean, peel and dice the carrots. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan. Sauté the bacon and onion cubes in it. Add the carrot and potato cubes and sauté. Pour in the broth and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and a pinch of sugar. Bring the broth to the boil. Add the savoy cabbage pieces and bring to the boil again. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
  • Peel, quarter, core and dice the pears. Add the pear cubes to the stew. Cut the sausages into slices and add to the stew. Season the savory sauce with the spices again and serve. Enjoy your meal!
