Savoy Cabbage with Minced Meat

The perfect savoy cabbage with minced meat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Smaller Savoy cabbage
  • 250 g Minced beef
  • 100 g Ham cubes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 1 a cup Cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter
  1. Remove the stalk from the savoy cabbage, cut into small pieces and cook in the vegetable stock with the caraway seeds, add the cream and set aside.
  2. 2nd tip: if you like the savoy cabbage very fine, you can roughly puree it with a hand blender
  3. Peel and dice the onions and fry them in the butter until translucent, add the diced ham and minced meat and stir-fry the minced meat until crumbly, season with salt and pepper and mix everything with the savoy cabbage.
  4. Serve the savoy cabbage with boiled potatoes.
