Schnitzel casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 pork schnitzels
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 200 g bacon, diced
  • 1 can of mushrooms or fresh
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 tsp broth (instant)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt
  • oil
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Season the schnitzel lightly and fry briefly in oil. Place in a casserole dish and keep warm in the oven. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Thinly slice the leek. Brown the onion and garlic in the fat from the schnitzel, then add the leek and mushrooms. Sauté for about 3 minutes. Stir in the cream and dissolve the broth. Stir everything together and pour over the schnitzel. Place the casserole dish in the oven at approximately 200°C for about 20-25 minutes.
