Dorade, or sea bream, is a fish delicacy that is in high season from July to October. It convinces gourmets, but also every fitness enthusiast because it has excellent inner values.

The nutritional values of the sea bream are convincing

Because it contains little, but high-quality, fat, sea bream is an excellent fitness food. At the same time, the fish scores with protein, important minerals, and – as sea fish are completely natural – the trace element iodine. The following nutritional values are contained per 100 grams of fish:

  • Energy: 138 kcal/579kJ
  • Water: 72.2g
  • Egg white: 19.3 g
  • Fat: 6.8 g – most of it omega-3 fatty acids, linoleic acid, oleic acid, but also palmitic acid.
  • Carbohydrates: almost zero, but the fish also has no fiber worth mentioning.
  • Minerals: 1.2 g – including a lot of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium
  • Trace element iodine: 24 µg
