Seafood pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 onions
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 6 tbsp olive oil or soybean oil
  • 3 tbsp herbs, fresh or dried
  • 500 g seafood, frozen, mixed
  • 500 g scampi, without shell
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the diced onion and roughly chopped garlic over low heat for about 10 minutes, but do not fry. Add the salt, pepper, and herbs, and stir well. Then add the scampi and seafood, stir briefly, and sauté for about 15–20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and chili powder. Alternatively, you can also add fish (e.g., tuna—it doesn’t fall apart as easily), mussels, and small squid tubes. Serve the seafood stir-fry on a hot plate or cook everything in an electric wok and serve it on the table. Serve with baguette, garlic cream, and crudités (e.g., carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, and bell pepper pieces). A spicy salsa sauce is also delicious.
