Ingredients
- 400 g Seitan
- 150 g Fresh plums
- 3 Onions
- Oil
- 2 El Cassis balsamic vinegar
- 1 El Maple syrup
- 2 Tl Grainy mustard, medium hot
- 1 Tl Smoke aroma
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 0,5 Tl Blueberry and vanilla salt, optional
- 500 ml Vegan brown sauce
Instructions
- Dice the seitan. Roughly chop the onions. Core and quarter the plums.
- Heat the oil and first fry the seitan in it until it browns. Then add onions and fry them too until they brown. Add maple syrup and caramelize briefly. Add the cassis balsamic vinegar.
- Pour the brown sauce. Add the plums. Add the cinnamon stick to the goulash. Stir in mustard and smoke flavor.
- Let the goulash simmer gently with the lid open for at least 45 minutes.
- Season with blueberry and vanilla salt and serve with dumplings and red cabbage.
