Semolina and quark casserole with peach

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 3 eggs, size M
  • 50 g liquid sweetener
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 bottle of vanilla flavor
  • 60 g soft wheat semolina
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 can peach(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks with the quark, sweetener, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix the baking powder with the semolina and stir in. Cut the peaches into bite-sized cubes and fold in. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes, until golden brown. Caution: The batter will rise during baking! 100g of casserole contains approximately 88 kcal.
