Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 100 g semolina (durum wheat semolina)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

Beat the egg and butter until fluffy, add the salt and nutmeg, and sprinkle in the semolina. Mix everything together well to form a firm dough. Scoop out small dumplings with a teaspoon, add them to boiling meat broth, and simmer gently for about 20 minutes. Tip: Don’t let the semolina dough rest; use it immediately after mixing!
